Emotional and Relational Stability is the Key toSuccess in this Life
Part of our responsibility as followers of Christ is to be the best we can be. Acknowledging our sin and admitting that we can't do this life on our own is a vital first step in our success, but as we begin to learn what God desires for us, we begin to understand that God does things with excellence, and so should we.
We are told in John 10:10, that He came to give us a full life, life the way it was meant to be. Translated into our everyday, that means in marriage, in parenting, in key relationships, in our jobs, and in every aspect of our existence.
Our desire here at the Upper Rooms is to create an atmosphere of safety for men to come, connect, and learn how to be better husbands, fathers, friends, and followers of Christ. Men need a place to belong, outside the home, a place that will challenge them to be better, where they can be cheered on to victory, and encouraged when they take a step forward.
The studies we pursue will help build a foundation of emotional and relational stability by helping us focus on ourselves, not others. As we look into our lives and find out what makes us tick, it becomes easier to understand why we are the way we are, and how to move beyond into what God intends for our lives.
